Antoine Semenyo responds to Luis Sinisterra’s message after Tottenham update
Tottenham have had a major update in their pursuit of Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo, and the winger has responded to teammate Luis Sinisterra amid the news.
Semenyo has been on the south coast since a move from Bristol City back in January 2023, for around £10million.
Last season, the 25-year-old started all but two Premier League games for the Cherries, scoring 11 goals and picking up six assists as they secured a ninth-place finish.
However, as a result of such a successful campaign, Andoni Iraola’s side are in danger of being picked apart this summer, with the departures of both Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez already confirmed.

Tottenham suffer Semenyo setback
Earlier this month, Football Insider exclusively revealed that Bournemouth could accept £70m offers for Semenyo.
The hefty asking price comes with the Cherries reluctant to lose more star players, and not in a position where they need to sell.
Bournemouth are desperate to keep hold of Semenyo and hope that the lofty valuation will put Tottenham off making an official bid for the attacker.
With the rumours swirling, the Ghana international responded to teammate Sinisterra’s post on Instagram.
Underneath a video showing the former Leeds man preparing for the new season, Semenyo commented: “Vamooooooo” to show his support.
Bournemouth must stand strong
Football Insider Verdict
With Huijsen joining Real Madrid and Liverpool confirming the signing of Kerkez, Bournemouth have already seen two of their starting backline from last season leave.
To make matters worse, Kepa Arrizabalaga is set to sign for Arsenal rather than returning to the Cherries, meaning they have lost their number one shot stopper from the 2024/25 campaign as well.
Perhaps the most concerning news of the lot, however, is that Illia Zabarnyi has been heavily linked with Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain.
Zabarnyi went under the radar for the Cherries last season, but was magnificent for Iraola throughout the campaign, bringing strength and leadership to the defence.
Bournemouth must stand strong on their valuations of both the Ukrainian centre-back and Semenyo, as they aim to retain at least some of their key players over the summer.
