Antonee Robinson and Calvin Bassey react to Harry Wilson announcement at Fulham
Fulham caught the attention of star duo Antonee Robinson and Calvin Bassey with a new announcement concerning Harry Wilson.
The 28-year-old Welshman was only able to show off his quality in bursts, often spending time on the sidelines, especially after suffering a broken foot in January, seeing him miss 12 games.
Despite this, he still notched six goals and one assist in 25 league appearances, starting only 12 of them, with multiple of his efforts winning points for the Cottagers throughout the season.
Wilson also continues to be an integral part of Craig Bellamy‘s Wales side, scoring against both Liechtenstein and Belgium in the most recent international window.
Now, the attacker’s quality, achievements, and impact are all being noticed as awards are handed out at Craven Cottage after finishing 11th in the Premier League table.
Harry Wilson earns deserved award at Fulham
Taking to Instagram (13 June), the official club account wrote: “He put the ball in the Brentford net,” announcing Wilson’s effort against Brentford as Fulham’s Goal of the Season.
Bassey, Ryan Sessegnon, and Robinson all liked the post in support of the talented Welshman, having scored a wonderful goal to help beat the Bees in November.
Marco Silva has multiple stars at his disposal next season
Football Insider verdict
While Football Insider understands that Fulham’s alarm bells are ringing over Marco Silva’s future, there has not yet been any movement in the managerial department ahead of next season.
If the Cottagers can keep hold of the Portuguese figure, there is no reason why the team cannot aim for silverware or a higher finish in the Premier League table next term.
Fulham beat the likes of Nottingham Forest, Chelsea, FA Cup winners Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, and even Liverpool, suggesting that the team is already capable of more.

With that being said, Mick Brown told Football Insider that Fulham have held internal talks over a Joao Palhinha return, which would be a sensational move for the Cottagers.
Signing a new striker would certainly be a good move. While Raul Jimenez and Rodrigo Muniz are hard workers, neither has the presence to push the team further in the league.
Losing Robinson and Andreas Pereira this summer could also throw a spanner in the works, but if Silva is to remain with the West London outfit, he must be backed during the transfer window.
