Antonio Conte backed to work Ivan Perisic magic after Tottenham reveal – expert
Paul Robinson has backed Tottenham manager Antonio Conte to mould Lucas Moura into a right wing-back.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-White Hart Lane goalkeeper said the 29-year-old’s fitness and engine make him capable of adapting to a new role.
Lucas Moura has played a bit-part role for Spurs since Conte’s appointment in November.

As quoted by the Evening Standard (18 July), Conte claimed the winger would be “a good option” in the right wing-back position next season.
The Italian manager has a history of converting wide forwards into wing-backs with Ivan Perisic, Victor Moses and Antonio Candreva notable examples.
When asked by Football Insider for his thoughts on Lucas Moura being utilised in a new role next season, Robinson said: “Conte has done it before with Perisic and Moses.
“He is renowned for making wingers into wing-backs so that they fit into the system that he wants to play.
“Lucas Moura is a player that I really like. He would be able to do that role. You see how fit he is and you can see the engine he has on him. He is more than capable of playing in a right wing-back role.
“I don’t think he is going to be the first choice there but he does give the manager another option.”

Lucas Moura contributed six goals and eight assists in 45 appearances across all competitions last season.
He has two years remaining on his contract with the Lilywhites.
