Antonio Conte delivers verdict on Tottenham chances in the PL title race

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte believes their Premier League title race with Tottenham will go to the final game of the season.
The Italian guided his team to a 4-2 win over Southampton on Tuesday night in the league which extended their lead at the top of the table to seven points.
The win on home soil for Conte’s side has put the pressure on Tottenham, who play Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening at Selhurst Park.
Spurs will go into that tricky match on the back of a demoralising defeat which saw them get knocked out of the semi-final stages of the FA Cup at the weekend at the hands of Chelsea.
Nonetheless, Conte delivered this verdict on Spurs’ chances in the title race, with a number of difficult matches coming up for the second-placed team.

“This race will continue until the end of the league and for this reason, we must be ready [for any challenge],” Conte told Sky Sports on Tuesday night straight after the win against Southampton.
“It’s important to look at ourselves.”
After their encounter with Palace, Mauricio Pochettino will prepare his team for a tough home tie against north London rivals Arsenal on Sunday.
Defeats or dropped points by Tottenham during those two encounters will help Chelsea edge closer to being crowned champions.
The Blues will have to prepare for their own difficult match on Sunday when they travel to Goodison Park to take on Everton.
More importantly, the league leaders will kick off before their title rivals at the weekend and could be ten points clear in the table by the time Spurs are playing Arsenal.
