Rangers fans blast Murty decision to start senior player v Ross County

Rangers fans have reacted with anger to the news that Kenny Miller has kept his place in the starting line-up for the match against Ross County.

The Gers have made two changes to the side which defeated Aberdeen 2-1 in their last league game but it is Graeme Murty’s decision to start senior player Miller which is causing the most consternation.

Here are a few of the best reactions from Twitter:

Miller hasn’t scored for Rangers since Graeme Murty’s first game in charge as interim manager back in October, he found the net twice in a 3-1 win over Hearts at Tynecastle.

Graeme Murty will continue in charge of Rangers until the new year at least, follow Derek McInnes’ decision to turn down the manager’s job at Ibrox in favour of staying at Aberdeen.

The Gers go into the match against Ross County three points behind the Dons, but with the possibility of overtaking them with a win over the Dingwall side.

If Rangers defeat Ross County it will mark the first time the team has won three victories in a row since December 2016.

The Gers have a difficult month ahead, as they take on Neil Lennon’s Hibs at Easter Road and Celtic at Celtic Park before the winter break at the end of December.
