Archie Gray to make surprise Leeds return? Whispers intensify with new message
Archie Gray has taken to social media to congratulate Leeds star Brendan Aaronson after their impressive 3-0 Championship win over Plymouth on Saturday (November 2).
Aaronson, 24, netted Leeds’ third goal in an explosive eight-minute scoring spree, blowing Plymouth out of the water and sending the West Yorkshire club up to second.
After spending last season on loan at German club Union Berlin, the USA international is starting to find his feet at Elland Road after a disappointing first season at the club.
With four goals and one assist in the Championship so far this season, Daniel Farke has seemingly found his Georginio Rutter replacement.
Archie Gray linked with shock Leeds United return
Since making the £30million move from his boyhood club to Tottenham, Gray, 18, has only managed to 491 minutes across all competitions for his new club.
According to GiveMeSport, Gray could be set to return to Leeds on loan in January as he searches for more consistent first-team football.
To add fuel to the rumours, Gray took to Instagram to congratulate former teammate Aaronson on his latest performance.

Gray might get some minutes in midweek as Spurs take on Turkish giants Galatasaray in the Europa League on Thursday (November 7).
Leeds will hope to keep their good form going as they take on rivals Millwall in the Championship on Wednesday (November 6).
