Arsenal backed to swoop for another Premier League star after Oleksandr Zinchenko news – expert
Arsenal will turn their attentions to signing Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans after completing a deal for Oleksandr Zinchenko.
That is the view of former Gunners and Everton striker Kevin Campbell, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about where Mikel Arteta’s side still need to strengthen.
On Thursday (21 July), Arteta revealed there is only “a few formalities” before a deal for Zinchenko can be announced.

Fabrizio Romano claimed (20 July) that the Ukraine international will move to the Emirates on a four-year deal.
Zinchenko can play as a left-back and as a midfielder.
When asked by Football Insider if the London club still needed to sign another midfielder on top of Zinchenko, Campbell said: “Tielemans is still needed.
“When you think about it, Arsenal are going for four trophies. They are in four trophies and want to be competitive in every competition.
“When we get beyond the first XI there is a drop-off in talent. That has been Arsenal’s problem over the years.

“The squad has not been good enough but with Zinchenko, [Fabio] Vieira and possibly a Tielemans the midfield looks a lot stronger.
“Arteta could rotate that squad. That is what Arteta wants. He wants competition for places with quality on the bench to change it in game. Tielemans is one I’m sure Arsenal will try to get, even if it goes to the last minute.”
