Arsenal confirmed line-up v Hull: Wenger makes one change
By Dominic Toner
Arsenal have made one change to their starting XI for their home match against Hull in the Premier League.
The Gunners host Hull on Saturday and will be looking to respond to back-to-back defeats against Chelsea and Watford.
Arsene Wenger has decided to make just one alteration from the team that lost 3-1 against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Kieran Gibbs has come into the side at left-back and replaced team-mate Nacho Monreal in the only change.
Arsenal have announced their starting line-up on their official Twitter account.
Arsenal have seen their hopes of a first Premier League title since the 2003/04 season fade as they are now 12 points adrift of runaway leaders Chelsea.
However, the Gunners still have 14 huge league fixtures remaining as they try to gain a top four spot and will be keen to get back to winning ways on Saturday.
The north London club are currently fourth-placed in the table, but Liverpool are just a point behind them in fifth and Manchester United a further point back.
Arsenal recorded a comfortable 4-1 victory in the previous meeting with Hull this season as Alexis Sanchez’s double, Theo Walcott and Granit Xhaka goals secured the three points.
In other Arsenal team news, the club’s supporters have reacted on Twitter to Olivier Giroud’s award snub.
