Arsenal could beat Tottenham to Gabriel Jesus for this reason after source reveal – expert
Paul Robinson has suggested Man City striker Gabriel Jesus would only move to Arsenal over Tottenham for the money.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one questioned whether the 25-year-old wanted “to maximise his earning capacity or win more honours.”
Jesus has just 12 months remaining on his contract at the Etihad and is expected to leave the club this summer.

On Saturday (June 4), The Sun claimed that Arsenal are ready to offer the Brazil international £200,000-a-week to move to the Emirates.
An Arsenal source told Football Insider a day later (5 June) that personal terms had been agreed between the two parties.
Speaking on Chris Cowlin’s YouTube channel (6 June), Fabrizio Romano revealed Tottenham are also in contact with Jesus’ agent.
When asked by Football Insider for his assessment of Jesus’ options, Robinson said: “There is not a starting spot for him at Spurs but he’d be an ideal signing because of his versatility and quality.
“It is down to the player’s ambitions. He will have no shortage of clubs interested in him.
“It depends on what he is driven by. Is he driven by success or finance?

“He is coming to the end of his contract. It is up to him to decide what he wants to do for the next four or five years. Does he want to maximise his earning capacity or win more honours in the game.
“Listen, Arsenal and Spurs are too similar clubs. Spurs are moving in the right direction quicker than Arsenal right now but the size and history of the clubs is similar. There is not a lot to choose between them.”
