‘Arsenal dithering loses Leroy Sane deal from very strong position’
Arsenal look to have missed out on the signing of Leroy Sane due to a failure to act quickly to do a deal that was their’s to lose.
The Gunners are expected to be busy in the transfer window this summer, after another season in which they failed to pick up any silverware.
While a new centre-forward may be top of the agenda in the eyes of many, some additional options out wide would also be a boost for manager Mikel Arteta.
Earlier this season, Football Insider was told that Arsenal were keeping tabs on Sane at Bayern Munich, as they looked to bring in a new winger.
That deal though is now lost, with the former Man City man instead looking set for a move elsewhere.

Galatasaray swoop for Leroy Sane
Earlier this week, it emerged that Sane is set to sign for Turkish giants Galatasaray on a three-year deal, following the expiration of his contract with Bayern.
As a result, the Gunners have missed out on a deal for a player it appears they were indeed keen on, through their own doing.
According to an update from The Athletic, Arsenal had been “very strong contenders” to sign the Germany international.
However, Arteta’s side were apparently “considering their options”, which proved an issue given Sane wanted a more “immediate resolution” to his future.
The offer that emerged from Galatasaray presented that in a way that worked for the 29-year-old, meaning he is now set for a move to Istanbul rather than North London.

Arsenal transfer concern develops after fresh update
Football Insider Verdict
Given how close they are to being in a position to end their trophy drought, it is hugely important that the Gunners get things right in the window this summer.
Making the appropriate signings in the positions that need strengthening will ensure Arteta and co. go into next season believing they can finally get their hands on silverware.
However, they are going to be looking at quality targets who will also be attracting interest from elsewhere, so this is something of a worry.
It has already been claimed that Arsenal have been split internally over a move for Viktor Gyokeres, and this update hints that there may be something of a theme of indecision in their summer so far.
Considering they cannot risk continuing to miss out on their top targets if they are to make the signings they need, the pressure is going to start building on those in charge at The Emirates to act faster.
If they are unable to do that, then there is a chance this transfer window will turn into a missed opportunity for Arsenal.
