Arsenal expected to ‘edge’ Tottenham in race to sign Gabriel Jesus after source’s update – expert
Arsenal “have the edge” over Tottenham in the race to sign Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus this summer.
That is according to former Gunners and Everton striker Kevin Campbell, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 25-year-old’s future at the Etihad.
Jesus is fast approaching the final 12 months of his contract with Pep Guardiola’s side.

The Brazil international looks set to leave with Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez to arrive at Man City this summer.
An Arsenal source told Football Insider (25 May) that the club are increasingly confident of signing Jesus after intial talks.
Jesus is understood to be eager to reunite with Mikel Arteta, his former Man City colleague, at the Emirates.
Tottenham have also been linked with a move for the striker.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs if Spurs are a more attractive proposition than Arsenal, Campbell said: “When you are a player you want to play.
“Where is he going to play at Spurs? They have Harry Kane and Son [Heung-min]. They have been unbelievable. I don’t see where he is going to play.
“At Arsenal there is a spot waiting for him through the middle. Obviously he can play in other positions as well but at Arsenal there is a glaring spot.

“He also knows the manager which will help. Hopefully that will work in Arsenal’s and Arteta’s favour.
“I think Arsenal have the edge.”
