Arsenal expected to ‘prioritise’ £25m signing over Ruben Neves after journalist’s update – expert
Arsenal will prioritise signing Youri Tielemans over Ruben Neves because of the goals the Leicester City star contributes from midfield.
That is the view of former Gunners and Everton striker Kevin Campbell, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about Arsenal’s transfer plans in the upcoming window.
Edu and Mikel Arteta are keen to strengthen their midfield this summer.

According to The Athletic‘s David Ornstein (24 May), the London club are targeting Leicester City’s Tielemans, 25, and Wolves’ Neves, 25.
It is said that the Gunners hope they could agree a fee in the region of £25million for Tielemans.
The Belgium international has just over one year remaining on his contract at the King Power Stadium.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs who he expected Arsenal to prioritise out of the two, Campbell said: “We need both.
“We need extra competition in midfield and we need goals from midfield.
“Tielemans can score goals. He creates and scores goals. He can hit them from 25 yards or get in the box and be dangerous.

“I think Arsenal have a lot of needs and requirements. I would both of them but if I had to choose one, I think Tielemans is the one Arsenal will prioritise.
“Goals from midfield would be massive for us. It would be key. He would score double figures every season if he was at Arsenal. An extra 10 goals makes a big difference.”
