Arsenal fans all say the same thing about Kai Havertz as footage re-analysed
Arsenal fans were fuming with Kai Havertz after his glaring miss from point-blank range during their match against Newcastle on Monday (7 January).
However, Havertz had a huge opportunity to bring his team back into the game in the 58th minute when a deflected cross fell kindly to him just six yards out.
The Germany international was unmarked and had a free header at goal, but he failed to even head the ball as it bounced off his shoulder and went wide.
Mikel Arteta’s men failed to find the back of the net throughout the game, giving themselves a mountain to climb in the reverse fixture next month to try and book a place at Wembley Stadium.
The 25-year-old has scored 12 goals and provided three assists in all competitions this season for Arsenal across 26 appearances.
Arsenal fans think Kai Havertz is ‘awful’
Havertz has struggled for consistent goals at the Emirates Stadium after he made the move across London from Chelsea in 2023.
It has led to frustration from Arsenal supporters who have claimed that he is “awful,” while others stated it was “one of the worst misses” they’d ever seen.
