Arsenal fans claim their team is ‘cursed’ after shattering new injury confirmed
Arsenal fans are adamant that their season is “cursed” after they have been handed another injury blow during the international break with Leandro Trossard hurt during Belgium’s defeat against Israel.
Mikel Arteta’s squad is already stretched after Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice withdrew from England’s squad due to injury issues, and now Trossard has been put into that mix.
The 29-year-old had to be substituted just 37 minutes into Belgium’s game and saw Arsenal’s bad luck during the international breaks continue.
Martin Odegaard and Riccardo Calafiori got hurt during the September international break, while Saka and Gabriel Martinelli got injured during the break in October as the Gunners continue to struggle keeping their team fit.
The full impact of Trossard’s injury remains to be seen, but he is now going to be a doubt for Arsenal’s upcoming game on Saturday (23 November) against Nottingham Forest.
That fixture is an important one for the Gunners, considering they are currently level on points with Forest in the Premier League table and nine points adrift of Liverpool.
Arsenal fans are fed up with the constant injury problems
Trossard’s injury is simply the latest in what has been a season littered with different problems for Arteta and fans have now reached a boiling point.
Supporters have claimed they “hate” international breaks, while others believe the club should “forget about trophies this season.”
