Arsenal fans rage as latest clip of Kai Havertz bust-up analysed

Arsenal fans are furious with referee Jarred Gillet after images emerge of Wolves defender Yerson Mosquera grabbing Kai Havertz by the throat.

Mosquera, 23 is fouled by Havertz, then dragged to the ground. The young defender reacts by pinning his opponent and grasping his neck, but he quickly thinks better of it and steps back.

That saves him from a potential red card, and the VAR decides not to intervene.

Havertz, 25, had the last laugh as Arsenal ended the game as 2-0 victors thanks to goals from himself and Bukayo Saka.

Havertz gave the home side the lead in the 25th minute with a towering header from 22-year-old Saka’s inswinging freekick.

The visitors did grow into the game in the second half but Saka and Havertz combined yet again, this time it was the England international who scored with a near post finish.
