Kieran Gibbs has been called-up to the England squad to face Slovenia on Tuesday and Arsenal fans have celebrated the news on Twitter.
The FA announced on their official website that Gibbs, 27, would replace the injured Ryan Bertrand in Gareth Southgate’s squad.
Bertrand limped off early in the second-half during England’s 2-0 win over Malta on Saturday, just three days before the Three Lions’ third World Cup qualifier against Slovenia.
Supporters on social-media praised the decision to include Gibbs, with one fan saying he should have been in the squad anyway.

The full-back has played just four times for Arsenal this season in two Premier League, one Champions League and one EFL Cup encounter.
Gibbs has struggled to regain his starting position in Arsene Wenger’s squad after losing his place to Spanish full-back Nacho Monreal.
The defender has watched from the sidelines for much of this season as the Gunners have made a strong start to their domestic campaign.
Wenger’s side currently sit in third place in the Premier League behind north London rivals Tottenham and league-leaders Manchester City.
The Gunners will take on Swansea, Ludogorets and Middlesbrough all within seven days next week as they strive for their first piece of silverware since the 2014-15 FA Cup.
In other Arsenal news, the Gunners will be boosted by the return of this defender.
