Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Liverpool Monday night draw
By Dominic Toner
Liverpool were held to a goalless draw with Manchester United on Monday – and Arsenal fans were thrilled with the result on Twitter.
The Merseyside club played out a 0-0 with their great rivals and missed the opportunity to go level on points with the Gunners.
The result leaves Liverpool fourth in the Premier League table and two points adrift of league leaders Manchester City.
Arsenal are only behind Man City on goal difference and have been quietly accumulating their points.
Man City, Liverpool and Tottenham have been regarded as serious title contenders this season but Arsene Wenger’s team are certainly in that top bracket.
