Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Xhaka inclusion in line-up v Burnley

Granit Xhaka was named in the starting XI as Arsenal take on Burnley on Sunday afternoon- and supporters on Twitter reacted in positive fashion as they saw the midfielder’s name on the team sheet.

The 24-year-old started in his sides previous fixture against FC Basel, where Arsene Wenger’s men were 2-0 winners in their Champions League group game on Wednesday night.

Now, Xhaka starts against Burnley, with supporters praising their manager for selecting the club’s £30 million summer signing in their starting line-up.

It means the Gunners will line-up with Santi Cazorla playing alongside Xhaka in midfield, with Mesut Ozil in a more advanced position.

The Arsenal faithful were in a joyous mood to see the trio starting for the club, as it signalled the strength the club has in the middle of the park.

The Gunners will be looking for their fifth consecutive win in all competitions after their 2-0 triumph at home to Basel in the Champions League in midweek.

Additionally, the north London club are looking for their fifth straight victory in the league, after Wenger’s side comfortably beat rivals Chelsea 3-0 in their previous league outing.

Arsenal are currently fifth in the Premier League table with 14 points from their opening six games, as they travel to Sean Dyche’s Burnley who are in 14th place with seven points.
