Arsenal fans react furiously on Twitter fume to Van Persie incendiary comments

Robin Van Persie has angered Arsenal fans on Twitter after claiming he’ll be returning “home” to Manchester United in the Europa League.
The former Arsenal captain spent eight years at the Emirates under Arsene Wenger but is relishing a return to Old Trafford, strongly hinting it is closer to his heart.
The striker spent just three seasons with Manchester United and played 171 games less for 20-times Premier League champions than he did for Arsenal, where he featured in 276 encounters.
“I am now playing for Fenerbahce and I want to do well for my team but of course, it will be special to play at ‘home’ in a great stadium [Old Trafford] with great fans against a great team,” Van Persie told MUTV, as reported by the Daily Mail.
In 2012, Van Persie controversially left Arsenal despite being the club’s main striker and club captain at the time.
He vowed his switch was in search of silverware after his side missed out on yet more trophies under Arsene Wenger and he joined Manchester United.
In Van Persie’s first season at United he won the Premier League after failing to win anything more than the Community Shield during his eight-year career at Arsenal.
Nonetheless, Arsenal fans feel betrayed by their former captain, who spent the majority of his career with the Gunners before moving in.
