Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter as loanee Jack Wilshere has been selected to start for Bournemouth against North London rivals Tottenham.
The England international has been announced in Eddie Howe’s starting XI to face Mauricio Pochettino’s high flying side, with many calling on their loan star to do the Gunners a favour in the Premier League table.
A Cherries win will see secon- placed Tottenham drop points, giving Arsenal a chance to move to the top of the table with Manchester City set to play Southampton on Sunday.
The Gunners play Aitor Karanka’s Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon, as they look to stretch their winning streak to eight consecutive matches.
Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter to the team news, with many predicting that Wilshere will score his first Bournemouth goal against Arsenal’s arch enemies.
