Jeff Reine-Adelaide looked the part as Arsenal cruised into the League Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday night – and fans took to Twitter to praise the emerging star.
Reine-Adelaide, 18, played 66 minutes of the 2-0 fourth-round triumph over Championship side Reading, in which victory was secured by an Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain double.
The French attacking midfielder delivered an immensely promising display for Arsene Wenger’s side in what was only his fourth game for the club.
Reine-Adelaide’s other senior start came in the 4-0 League Cup triumph over Nottingham Forest in the third round last month.
Fans on social media were delighted that Wenger had given some game time to the teenager and predicted big things for him in the future.
