Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter after a report suggested Arsene Wenger was keen on signing Joe Hart to replace Petr Cech.

The Mail claim the Gunners are on the lookout for a new stopper this summer as considering demoting former Chelsea ace Cech to the position of back-up goalkeeper.

Hart, 29, who is currently on loan with Serie A side Torino, has been identified as the Czech Republic international’s replacement with Manchester City requiring £15million for Hart.

Proving that manager Pep Guardiola was wrong to ostracise the 68-time international, Hart’s performances in Italy have shown any interested parties that he is still capable of his best.

He is also proven in the Premier League, with two titles to his name and nearly a decade of experience in the top flight.

Arsenal fans reacted on Twitter to the potential new signing of Torino’s number 21, with many claiming that he would be a good signing.

However, some claimed that the former Shrewsbury Town stopper would not be any improvement on Cech, while some suggested that David Ospina deserves a chance.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

After winning the 2011-12 and 2013-14 Premier League trophies with Manchester City, Hart has plenty of pedigree in the top tier of English football.

But manager Wenger denied having any interest in the Man City goalkeeper, claiming that he has three world class goalkeepers instead.

In other Arsenal news, David Seaman has had his say on interest in Hart.
