Arsenal fans have flocked to social media, urging the club to pursue Real Madrid star Arda Güler in a move reminiscent of Martin Odegaard’s transfer.
Guler, 19, has struggled for game time since moving from boyhood club Fenerbahce in 2023, making just 24 appearances across all competitions.
Relegated to cup games and the odd substitute appearance, the Turkey international has impressed with his limited opportunities, scoring six goals in just 440 minutes of game time last season.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, the wonderkid is unhappy with life at the European champions and is seeking a move away to help propel his young career.
Arsenal are reportedly interested in Guler and are open to signing him in a deal similar to the one that brought current captain Odegaard, 25, to the club in 2021.
