Arsenal idol issues three-word verdict after ‘big’ Bukayo Saka injury news confirmed
Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka will be fit to face West Ham on Sunday.
That is the view of former Gunners and Everton striker Kevin Campbell, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 20-year-old’s fitness.
Saka limped off in the second half of Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Man United on Saturday.
As quoted by Football.London (23 April), Mikel Arteta allayed fears that the England international was injured.
Arteta revealed Saka had been “struggling” since the start of the match with a “big knock” sustained in midweek.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs if he was concerned about Saka, Campbell issued a three-word verdict: “Not at all.
“I am not concerned in the slightest. He is going to be just fine.
“It was more precautionary than anything else. We have West Ham coming up at the weekend and we need him ready to go. Saka will have had a full week to recover and get over that knock. I’m sure he will be fine by the time the game comes around.
“Two penalties in two games for him as well. It is really good for him. He has answered those question marks. He is making a real name for himself this season.

“People were saying he was perhaps too young to take a penalty in the Euro final but he wasn’t. He is that gifted. It was just saved, that was all.
“He is taking more responsibility on his shoulders at the moment which is great to see.”
