Arsenal idol suggests Bukayo Saka ‘deal will get done’ after critical update

Kevin Campbell has claimed “a deal will get done” for Arsenal star Bukayo Saka after new quotes about his future.

The former Arsenal striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested the 20-year-old and the Londoners “won’t be a million miles away” in negotiations.

According to talkSPORT (31 August), Arsenal have offered to double Saka’s £70,000-a-week salary amid interest from Liverpool and Man City.

The England star has revealed he “feels really loved” at the Emirates, while Mikel Arteta has claimed he is “confident” that the player and the club are “aligned” ahead of a potential renewal.

Saka’s current deal expires in June 2024.

Campbell insisted wrapping up a new contract for the 18-cap star will be “easy work” for his representatives.

He told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “I think the deal will get done.

“The club and the player won’t be a million miles away. There’ll be a negotiation, like anything else, but the deal will get done.

“The player wants to stay, the club want to keep him – it’s easy work for the agent, really. It’s just up to them to get the best deal for their client now.”

Transfermarkt claim Saka is represented by Elite Project Group Limited – who also have Jadon Sancho, Joe Aribo, Alex Iwobi, and Romeo Lavia among their clientele.
