Football Insider rates the Arsenal players after they secured three points with a 3-1 victory against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Petr Cech 7 – Made a number of important saves during the first half, including a terrific second-half save from former Gunners striker Benik Afobe from close range with the scoreline in the balance.

Mathieu Debuchy 5 – Awful luck for the right-back after he lasted just 14 minutes on his return from injury before being substituted for Brazilian Gabriel.

Shkodran Mustafi 6 – Looked calm on the ball throughout, largely untested by the Cherries’ attack.

Laurent Koscielny 7 – A little rash in a number of tackles but dealt with Wilson well throughout the match. Classy performance without being sensational.

Nacho Monreal 7 – Conceded penalty for a clumsy tackle on Wilson, but made up for it with inch-perfect assist for Theo Walcott’s goal.

Granit Xhaka – 6 Played a simple game, but went missing a lot of the time in the middle of the park.

Mohamed Elneny – 7 Raw talent was evident, as his work rate helped him dominate both the tempo of the game and the Bournemouth midfield. Drove forward with the ball and made a number of important passes.

Theo Walcott – 7 Showed glimpses of brilliance, was teed up superbly by Monreal to head into the back of the net early in the second half.

Mesut Ozil – 7 Similarly to Walcott, Ozil was good in parts of the game. Made space superbly before supplying a cross for Walcott’s goal.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 7 Proved that he deserved his starting spot in the Gunners side, with a number of driving, skilful runs. Failed to provide cutting edge in the final third, though.

Alexis Sanchez 8 – Scored two goals and was too hot to handle for the Bournemouth defence. The 27-year-old was alert to Steve Cook’s blunder as he gave the Gunners the lead and converted Olivier Giroud’s pull-back in injury time.

Gabriel – 5 (On for Debuchy 14 mins) Definitely not a right-back. Looked uncomfortable on the ball throughout as Arsenal continued to miss Hector Bellerin.

Olivier Giroud – 7 (On for Walcott 75 mins)

Aaron Ramsey – 6 (On for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 75 mins)
