COMMENT By Harvey Byrne
Football Insider rates the Arsenal players in their 5-0 win against Southampton in the FA Cup at St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday evening.
David Ospina 7 – Pulled off some good saves when needed to ensure a clean sheet. Was always there when called upon.
Hector Bellerin 6 – Was fairly quiet by his standards. Had little opportunity to show his pace against the inexperienced Sam McQueen.
Shkodran Mustafi 7 – The Saints attack couldn’t find a way past him. A rock solid display from the Germany international.
Rob Holding 6 – Had little to do, but dealt with the pace of Shane Long well, while also winning a number of aerial duels.

Kieran Gibbs 5 – Was caught out a few times, but he was saved by his teammates in the defence.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 6 – Other than a long ball to Welbeck for the second goal the former Southampton man was fairly quiet.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles 6 – The teenager was solid in his side’s midfield without being spectacular.
Theo Walcott 9 – Found himself in the right position three times to net himself a hat trick in the clash. His pace caused a number of problems for a very inexperienced Southampton back four.
Jeff Reine-Adelaide 8 – The Frenchman kept possession well for his side and a number of attacks started via the 19-year-old in a dominant display.
Lucas Perez 8 – A neat pass from the Spaniard ensured Welbeck through on goal for his first strike. A good performance from the summer signing.
Danny Welbeck 9 – Finished the match with two goals after some excellent play from the forward. His first saw a fine lob over the young goalkeeper, while he put his second through Harry Lewis’ legs.
Alexis Sanchez (For Welbeck 64 minutes) 8
Alex Iwobi (For Reine-Aelaide 71 minutes) 6
