Arsenal ‘ready’ Kenan Yildiz move after contract talks collapse

Arsenal are planning to pounce on Kenan Yildiz’s stalling contract talks at Juventus as the race to for his services heats up ahead of the January window.

Kenan Yildiz has emerged as one of Europe’s best young attackers at Juventus over the last 18 months since he became a regular starter in their first-team.

The Turkish international notched nine goals and six assists in 48 appearances last term, while he has registered six goals and five assists in just 18 games so far in 2025-26 amid a brilliant start to the campaign.

Yildiz is on both Chelsea and Man United’s radar ahead of January, as revealed by Football Insider, after the former reportedly saw a bid for his services rejected in the summer window.

Football Insider have also revealed that Liverpool are tracking Yildiz, and there is set to be a real race on to snap him up in the new year.

As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Arsenal are also after Yildiz and he could be set to leave Juve as they struggle to tie him down to a new contract.

Arsenal preparing Yildiz approach amid contract uncertainty

The 20-year-old’s contract does not expire until 2029, but talks over fresh terms that better reflect his superstar status within the Juventus squad have not progressed as he weighs up his options in terms of a move away.

Arsenal are thought to be frontrunners to sign Yildiz as his future remains uncertain, and they could be set to make a move very soon if nothing can be resolved regarding a new Juve deal.

Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, I explained: “They’ll (the interested clubs) be right across this situation with Yildiz and his contract situation at Juventus if no new deal can be agreed with the Italian giants.

“I’m sure Arsenal will be ready to make a move for the highly rated attacking player as well. He’s regarded as one hottest young properties in European football.

“He’s done so well for Juventus that he’s come onto the radar of a number of top clubs, the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid have all been credited with an interest in Yildiz.

“That’s why Juventus are so keen to try and sort out his future and give him improved terms. He’s under contract in Turin until 2029, but they want to give him an improved deal just to reflect his importance to the team right now.

“Obviously nothing’s been agreed as yet, and if there’s any green light or doors open for any of his interested parties, I’m sure that those clubs will be ready to make a move for Yildiz.

“As I said, he’s a potential star in the making and these top clubs would love the opportunity to try and prise him away from Juventus.”

Arsenal to allow Gabriel Jesus to leave in January

Arsenal have set the pace at the top of the Premier League this season, with no passengers allowed in Mikel Arteta‘s squad as they aim to finally lift the title once again.

Yildiz could be on his way to North London to aid their hopes of silverware, but one player who may not be sticking around much longer is Gabriel Jesus.

Football Insider revealed on Thursday (20 November) that Arsenal are planning to accept offers for Jesus in the January window after he makes his return from a long-term injury layoff.

The 28-year-old has not played since January 2025 after suffering a cruciate ligament injury, and Arteta is content to see him depart in an attempt to raise funds and trim fringe players from his squad for the rest of the campaign.
