Football Insider Verdict

Arsenal must tie down Saka and Saliba to new contracts as the pair are integral players to Arteta’s side.

Now the transfer window has passed, Arsenal will be able to focus on negotiations having already tied the likes of Gabriel and Myles Lewis-Skelly to long-term contracts.

Arsenal have a squad able to challenge for trophies, but another season of failing to land silverware could hurt there chances of tying down Saka and Saliba if they hadn’t done so by the end of the campaign.
