Ben Jacobs revealed on 3 July that Al-Nassr are preparing a move for Martinelli, with the Saudi Pro League side now turning their attention to the Arsenal winger.
Jacobs added that Al-Nassr have requested central funding of €85million (£73million) to launch an official bid for the Brazilian.
The Saudi giants could face competition from Bayern Munich if Martinelli signals he is open to leaving north London, though the German champions also have alternative targets.
