Arsenal told to sign ‘big’ Gabriel Jesus ally as terms agreed – pundit
Arsenal need to sign a big, physical striker to compliment Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England forward insisted Jesus would be a “great signing” but they would still need a third frontline striker.
A Gunners source told Football Insider last week (5 June) that they have agreed personal terms with the Man City striker and are increasingly confident of completing a deal.

The 25-year-old only has a year left on his City contract and is set for a bumper pay rise at Arsenal.
“I do like Gabriel Jesus, I think that will be a great signing,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“But maybe one more [is needed]. Nketiah, for me, is not at the level that Arsenal need.
“If I was them I’d try and get two strikers. If they are left with Nketiah and Jesus then iit could be enough.
“If they were to sign Gabriel Jesus and he was to get injured you wouldn’t want to be left with just Nketiah.
“One more striker would be perfect for Arsenal.
“Maybe a different type. A bigger striker who can hold the ball up.
“Arsenal need numbers, they need midfielders, another right-back. There are problems there for Arsenal.”

Jesus scored 13 times and provided 12 assists in 41 games across all competitions in the 2021-22 season for Man City.
He only found the net eight times in 28 Premier League games and four of those came in a 5-1 win against Watford at the Etihad.
