‘Arsenal transfer window done’ – Fans fume after Ethan Nwaneri news
Arsenal fans are now convinced the club will not sign anyone during the transfer window following an update on Ethan Nwaneri.
The young talent sustained an injury against Brighton, leaving Raheem Sterling as the only available right-winger at the club.
Sterling, however, has struggled to impress since his arrival, prompting many supporters to call for a forward signing, particularly with Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus sidelined due to injury.
Nwaneri resumed training on 21 January as the Gunners prepared for their Champions League clash against Dinamo Zagreb [Football London].
While most fans are thrilled by his recovery, some are concerned this might signal the club’s decision to forgo any new signings.
Arsenal need to sign attacker regardless of the return of Ethan Nwaneri
The Gunners have faced an injury crisis this season, with several key players sidelined. William Saliba is the latest player to be added to the list.
Football Insider reported that Arsenal are actively in the market for a forward, but no deal has yet materialised or even progressed significantly.
Fans are understandably concerned that an attacking reinforcement may not arrive, especially with Nwaneri and Sterling both capable of covering for Saka during his absence.
In the end, Mikel Arteta may prioritise signing a striker, given that Kai Havertz is currently the only fit option in that position.
They have been heavily linked with Alexander Isak and have also explored a potential deal for Victor Osimhen.

However, many fans remain adamant that the club needs a replacement for Saka.
Despite this, they are increasingly convinced no such signing will be made. One fan reacted to the news by saying, “That’s our January window done” while another shared the same sentiment, stating, “There goes our hope of signing a new attacking player”.
In other news, Arsenal are among a number of clubs ready to make a move to sign this Premier League star.
