Arsenal transfers: Real Madrid work on William Saliba deal – report
Arsenal defender William Saliba is reportedly being eyed by Spanish giants Real Madrid for a move at the end of the 2024-25 season.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, the current European champions sent scouts to watch the 23-year-old in Arsenal’s 2-0 Premier League win over Aston Villa.
Saliba is highly regarded at Real Madrid as they aim to continue their strategy of bringing high-potential players to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Any potential move is said to be tricky with the North London club unwilling to let one of their star players leave on the cheap.

Saliba has established himself as an undisputed starter at Arsenal since returning from loan at French side Marseille back in 2022.
With 86 appearances under his belt, 85 of which have been from the first whistle, Saliba is key to Mikel Arteta’s plan to topple current champions Man City.
The Spanish giants have an embarrassment of riches up front following the signing of Kylian Mbappe but lack numbers at the heart of defence with just four first-team options.
Brazilian defender Eder Militao recently had to withdraw from the national team with a muscle injury just months after missing 213 days with an ACL tear.
