Arsenal will sign Ricardo Rodriguez from Wolfsburg next month if Kieran Gibbs quits the club, according to a reliable journalist.
Transfer expert Emanuele Giulianelli has claimed that West Ham, Swansea and Crystal Palace have all made approaches for England international Gibbs.
Giulianelli, who is a football writer and columnist for publications including Gazzetta Dello Sport, reported on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon that Arsenal will seal the signing of a new left-back in Rodriguez if Gibbs ends his lengthy service to the Gunners.

There have been widespread reports in recent days that Gibbs could leave Arsenal during the January window after slipping down the pecking order at the club in the last 18 months.
The 27-year-old has made 13 appearances this season, spread across 851 minutes of first-team action, but Nacho Monreal is firmly established as the premier left-back in Arsene Wenger’s side.
Gibbs has entered the final 18 months of his contract and the January window represents one of the final opportunities for Arsenal to command a sizeable fee for the player signed from MK Dons aged 15.
Rodriguez, 24, has been a mainstay of the Wolfsburg side since joining from FC Zurich in January 2012.
The 45-times Switzerland international has scored an impressive 22 goals and supplied 27 assists from 174 appearances for Wolfsburg in all competitions.
In other Arsenal transfer news, the club are close to agreeing a winger deal.
