Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri reacts to Gabriel Martinelli amid shock exit rumours
Arsenal forward Ethan Nwaneri has been active on social media as his future at Emirates Stadium becomes increasingly uncertain.
Nwaneri has one year remaining on his contract meaning he could leave Arsenal on a free next summer if his future is not resolved, with London rivals Chelsea interested in a deal.
The Gunners could be tempted to sell the 18-year-old for PSR reasons and manager Mikel Arteta is lining up Chelsea’s Noni Madueke as their new winger.
The England Under-21 international broke into the first team last season netting his first goals for the club and getting opportunities due to injuries to key players.

Nwaneri likes Martinelli message
Martinelli, who is also linked with a move away from Arsenal, took to Instagram (8 July) to share pictures from his post-season break.
The Brazilian captioned the post: “Making memories,” with a red love heart emoji which was liked by Nwaneri.
Both Bayern Munich and Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr are said to be interested in Martinelli this summer.
A move away could open the door for the Gunners to move for Real Madrid’s Rodrygo.
The 24-year-old has been a constant presence on Arsenal’s left flank over the past six seasons, scoring over 50 goals for the club.
Arsenal must keep talented Nwaneri
Football Insider Verdict
It has been exclusively revealed by Football Insider that Arsenal do not want to sell Nwaneri and it would take a ‘monster bid’ to let him leave the club.
However, until contract talks are concluded and Nwaneri has signed a new deal, interest will still arise.
Nwaneri was a bright spark last season for the Gunners with his technical ability allowing for a smooth transition into the first team.
He started contributing goals and assists in all competitions and was more trusted to make an impact than experienced loanee Raheem Sterling.

Arteta preferred Nwaneri out wide deputising for Bukayo Saka last season, but the youngster can also play in the number 10 position.
Forward signings are expected to arrive at Arsenal soon, but Nwaneri’s potential and versatility should not go under the radar.
Madueke is a natural winger, who could be a replacement for Martinelli or a back-up to Saka, whilst Viktor Gyokeres will slot firmly into the striker role.
Odegaard still does not have a natural successor at the club and Arteta should be moulding Nwaneri into that position instead of potentially letting him leave.
