Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce says that he is worried about the strength of the Leeds United attack ahead of their clash at Elland Road on Friday.
The Villans travel to Yorkshire off the back of a 2-0 win at home to Ipswich on Saturday, Albert Adomah netting twice to keep their place in the play off spots, sitting in fourth on 35 points.
Leeds meanwhile bounced back from a comprehensive 4-1 defeat away at league leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers in midweek with a 2-0 win at Barnsley, with star men Samu Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski netting to make it two wins from three games in the space of a week.
Bruce says that he is expecting a tough tie from the side sitting four places and six points behind his Villa team, and that he has identified the Whites’ forward line as the biggest worry for his players to take on.
Speaking to Villa’s official website, he said: “I watched them on the TV today and they’re a good side.
“They’ve got some good players up the top end of the pitch. We’ll have to defend well.
“We’re also playing well ourselves, which makes for a cracking game at Elland Road.
“It’s live on the television and will no doubt be in front of a full house.”
The last meeting between the two sides ended in a 1-1 back at the tail end of December in 2016, Jonathan Kodija netting a late penalty after Pontus Jansson had scored nine minutes after the start of the second half in the clash at Villa Park.
Meanwhile the Whites came out on top in the match at Elland Road last season, Kemar Roofe and Chris Wood scoring in a 2-0 win.
In other Leeds United news, Christiansen has said that it was a ‘very good week’ and that he is making bold demands of his players.
