Aston Villa confirmed line-up v Fulham: Midfield duo axed in five changes
By Amir Mir
Aston Villa have made five changes to their side as they take on promotion hopefuls Fulham at Craven Cottage on Easter Monday.
Steve Bruce’s side suffered a 3-1 defeat at home to Reading on Saturday afternoon in what was a mistake-ridden display from the Midlands outfit.
Midfield duo Henri Lansbury and Conor Hourihane have been axed alongside Leandro Bacuna, Alan Hutton and Albert Adomah.
As a result, Gary Gardner, Jack Grealish, Scott Hogan, Tommy Elphick and James Bree are their replacements.

Villa will face a stern test against the London-outfit, who sit one place and two points outside of the top six.
Fulham, who have scored a league high of 75 goals during this campaign, will be looking to overtake sixth-placed Sheffield Wednesday, who take on QPR at Loftus Road on the same day.
For Bruce, he will be hoping his team can build momentum going into the all-important showdown against rivals Birmingham City this Sunday.
The promotion expert clearly has the weekend encounter in mind given the number of changes he has made to the team.
It is likely that left-back Jordan Amavi, who produced a poor display against the Royals, will play further forward with the possibility that Nathan Baker has been drafted to the Frenchman’s defensive position.
This could see the returning Elphick partner the reliable James Chester at the heart of the club’s defence against their free-scoring opponents.
In other Aston Villa news, the club are in a four-way race for this £4million-rated midfielder.
