Aston Villa are expected to make two changes to their side to face Wigan at the DW Stadium on Saturday.
Steve Bruce could be boosted by the return of Andre Green as he may recover from a hamstring injury that has kept him out of the side since February.
This will mean that Jordan Amavi could lose his place on the left flank in order to accommodate the returning 18-year-old winger.
Neil Taylor has been the preferred choice at left-back over Amavi since he joined the club in January so he is expected to keep his place in the team.
Nathan Baker is set for a spell on the sidelines after he picked up a knee injury in the 2-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
Tommy Elphick replaced the centre-back during the win so he is expected to keep his spot in the side alongside James Chester and James Bree, who keep Alan Hutton out of the side as he continues to regain match fitness after his recent injury problems.
Sam Johnstone is expected to keep his place in goal after keeping four clean sheets in his last five matches.
Henri Lansbury picked up an injury in the pre-match warm-up ahead of Saturday’s clash with the Owls and was replaced by Gary Gardner in the starting line-up.
Gardner could keep his place in the side as Lansbury suffered an injury to his Achilles.
Conor Hourihane and Mile Jedinak are likely to keep hold of their places in the midfield.
Jonathan Kodjia scored both goals against Wednesday on Saturday so he should retain his place in the side with Albert Adomah remaining on the right wing.
Villa could get their fifth win in five games if they manage to overcome struggling Wigan.
The Latics currently sit in the bottom three of the relegation zone while Bruce’s side’s resurgence has seen them move up to 12th in the Championship standings.
Another in on Saturday could see them move up one more place above Barnsley if results go their way.
