Aston Villa fans ‘love’ clubs major announcement – ‘They’ve created the greatest dynasty of my lifetime’

The positivity around Villa Park has continued after a club announcement was met with joy from supporters.

Aston Villa’s 1-0 win over Man City made it four consecutive Premier League wins for Unai Emery’s side to lift them to eighth in the table.

Emery was under pressure at Aston Villa, after the club failed to win their first five league games of the campaign.

The Spaniard though has managed to turn fortunes around, and the good news keeps coming from the club.

Matty Cash rewarded with new contract

Matty Cash scored the winning goal in Aston Villa‘s success over Man City and less than 24 hours after the match the Poland international has signed a new contract.

Cash could have left Aston Villa in the summer, but the 28-year-old has remained at the club and cemented his position as the first choice right-back.

Reacting to the news one fan said: “They’ve literally picked the perfect moment to announce this. Very well played, Villa. Even I, as a staunch and long standing Cash critic, can hold few objections based on this seasons form. My fear is that he soon reverts to type but I’ll remain optimistic. Keep it up.”

One fan was delighted by the news: “Matty Cash commits his future to Villa—more defensive brilliance and attacking flair to come!”

Thoroughly deserved. Been our best player this season,” a fan commented.

Martinez, Buendia, Cash, Konsa, Bailey, Watkins, Luiz, Barkley, Bogarde, what the hell were Dean and Lange cooking man? They’ve created the greatest dynasty of my lifetime!,” one fan claimed.

Whist one fan claimed Cash is the “Best RB in the league.”

More good news coming out of Villa, well done Matty on the deserved new contract,” a fan said.

Who could be next for a new Villa contract?

Aston Villa only have one permanent player whose contract now expires in 2026, with the club able to extend Ross Barkley’s deal by a year.

We are still no closer to knowing whether the club will make Harvey Elliott’s and Jadon Sancho’s deals permanent next summer.

Elliott was not even included in the squad to face Man City, whilst Sancho was substituted off after coming on from the bench.
