Aston Villa fans react on Twitter to emphatic Kodjia decision
By Matt Farr
Jonathan Kodjia has been given the go-ahead to play again for Aston Villa this season – but fans on Twitter are still concerned.
It was revealed on the club’s official Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon that the 27-year-old was set to serve just a one-match ban following a successful appeal by the club.

Kodjia was initially set to face a three-match suspension after being shown a red card during Aston Villa’s 3-1 defeat to Fulham on Monday, where he was alleged to have kicked out at Ryan Fredericks.
However, the Ivory Coast international has seen his ban reduced to just one game, meaning he will be able to feature for the final two games of the season against Blackburn and Brighton.
He will though, miss out on the crucial Midlands derby clash with rivals Birmingham at the weekend.

But while Aston Villa fans were delighted to see their star striker back at their disposal, they still had their reservations over the emphatic decision.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:
Surely it's a 3 match ban for violent conduct or nothing at all ????????

How's kodjia banned for 1 game? It's either 3 or 0. Nothing in between

That's rubbish, but it's better than the 3 matches as I feared it would be. Time for the team to step up on Sunday.

So Scott brown had his overturned, but kodjia still has a 1 match ban. Makes sense ????????#AVFC

Kodjia has been in fine form for Aston Villa this season, netting 19 goals in all competitions, meaning he is just one goal shy of a landmark achievement.
If he finds the back of the net in any of his final two appearances this season, he could become the first Aston Villa player since Peter Withe in 1980-81 to score 20 league goals in a single season.
In other Aston Villa news, Stan Collymore has offered his help to this Villa player, he is concerned about him.
