Aston Villa fans slam ‘tragic’ player who is having ‘stinker of a season’ despite Fulham win
Aston Villa fans are concerned about the demise of a star player despite beating Fulham 3-1 for their first Premier League win of the season.
Emi Buendia made a stunning impact as a half-time substitute to set up John McGinn’s goal before netting the third himself within six minutes of his introduction.
Aston Villa had to come from behind after Raul Jimenez, who was forced off with injury, put Fulham ahead inside the opening minutes of the match.
Ollie Watkins equalised with his first goal of the season, though major worries remain over one player who failed to make an impact in the first period, at least.

Fans fume at Morgan Rogers performance vs Fulham
Morgan Rogers’ performances have received criticism this season, and the 23-year-old was again the subject of supporters’ frustrations against Fulham.
Rogers was linked away from Aston Villa during the summer transfer window, and perhaps that is affecting the midfielder, with one fan asking whether it was “too soon to call Morgan Rogers a one-season wonder.”
One supporter posted: “Morgan Rogers does not look like the same player from last season.”
Whilst another said: “Name a bigger drop off than Morgan Rogers. Maybe ever.”
One went as far to say: “For Aston Villa to move forward, Morgan Rogers has to go… Such unprofessionalism!“
Another posted: “Morgan Rogers is having a bad season . . . He looks exhausted. If he continues like this, I think he will suffer a serious injury.”
“Morgan Rogers is finished. Honestly, it’s shocking to watch,” a fan posted.
“I’m telling you Morgan Rogers is the most overrated footballer in the Prem,” another posted, whilst there was a call for Aston Villa to buy Fulham’s Josh King.
Damning Morgan Rogers stat emerges in Aston Villa vs Fulham clash
Rogers only made five successful passes in the first half against Fulham, as he again had no influence on proceedings.
The midfielder registered 14 goals and 16 assists in all competitions last season, but has been a shadow of the player that was at the centre of Aston Villa’s success.

Although Rogers’ influence grew in the second period, Emi Buendia’s remarkable second-half impact will give Emery some food for thought.
There is no doubt though that Emery needs an in-form Rogers if Aston Villa are to compete for a European spot in the Premier League again or go deep in the Europa League.
