Sources: Aston Villa man quit after falling-out with John McGinn
Michael Beale quit Aston Villa after he fell out with stars including John McGinn, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The 41-year-old was appointed the new QPR manager on Wednesday in what is his first managerial job.
A Villa source has told Football Insider the club did not stand in Beale’s way as he left his post of assistant manager to drop down a division for a more senior post.

Behind the scenes, the former Liverpool, Chelsea and Rangers coach is said to have had tense relationships with a number of senior Villa stars.
Among those is believed to be midfield kingpin McGinn, the source explained.
Beale and the 27-year-old fell out, and the player is “not a fan” of Steven Gerrard’s former sidekick.
Gerrard appointed Beale to his backroom staff when he took on his own first job at Rangers in the summer of 2018.
The former Liverpool head of coaching the followed Gerrard south of the border when he was appointed Villa manager last November.
Charged with the task of keeping Villa in the Premier League – Villa were just three points above the drop having played a game more than their rivals when Gerrard and Beale arrived – that target was achieved.

The Midlands giants ended the campaign 10 points clear of the relegation zone.
Villa have already been busy in this summer’s transfer market, signing Philippe Coutinho permanently as well as completing a deal for Diego Carlos.
