Aston Villa news: This is what John McGinn has said about Jacob Ramsey in training – Hutton
Alan Hutton has revealed the likes of John McGinn have raved over Jacob Ramsey’s attitude and commitment in training at Aston Villa.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Holte End favourite star lifted the lid on what the club’s senior stars have to say about the latest Villa sensation.
The 20-year-old has established himself as a first-team mainstay this season, first under Dean Smith and then under Steven Gerrard.

As quoted by the Daily Mail (10 February), the current Villa boss revealed he “loves working” with the academy product and tipped him for an England call-up down the line.
Hutton revealed it is not only the Villans’ manager who has been impressed.
“Obviously I speak to the likes of John McGinn and it’s always glowing reports,” Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge.
“I mean, he’s producing not just on the pitch but daily in training. How he looks after himself, he’s got his feet on the ground, he’s not above his station, these sort of things.
“These are what makes you go to that next level because you’re willing to put in the hard graft. It shows on a Saturday or midweek when you play games.
“Everything that I’ve heard has always been positive from the guys.”
McGinn and Ramsey have been partnered in midfield for much of this season at Villa.

The youngster has played 21 times in the Premier League this season.
He made his 50th senior appearance for the club in the 1-0 defeat at Newcastle.
In other news, Aston Villa have given senior attacker green light to leave in major clearout.
