Aston Villa respond to Premier League club interest in Ezri Konsa
Aston Villa will not sell Ezri Konsa under any circumstances in the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
That is despite the fact that reports have linked Konsa to multiple Premier League clubs in recent weeks.
Manchester City and Tottenham are among those apparently interested in the England international, following his impressive start to the season.
However, sources say that Villa are desperate to keep hold of Konsa, as he is one of their most important players.

Ezri Konsa committed to Aston Villa amid contract update
Konsa still has just under three years remaining on his current Aston Villa contract, and if he saw the entirety of the deal through, he would remain in the Midlands until the summer of 2028.
Sources say that the defender is very settled at Villa Park and is fully focused on ensuring his side’s good run of form continues.
Unai Emery came under a bit of pressure during Villa’s difficult start to the season, but the Spaniard has now guided his side to four straight Premier League wins.
The Midlands giants are up to eighth in the table, and are just two points adrift of Sunderland in the final Champions League spot.
Aston Villa to secure future of star player
Meanwhile, Aston Villa are set to secure the future of another one of their star players, with Morgan Rogers in advanced talks to agree a new deal.

Football Insider exclusively revealed in September that Aston Villa had opened talks with Rogers over a contract extension.
Emery then recently confirmed that negotiations regarding the highly rated midfielder were underway.
Sources say that both parties are now close to an agreement, which would see Villa tie Rogers down for an extended period.
