Aston Villa senior figure makes bold statement regarding Tottenham and Everton

Keith Wyness has made a bold statement and claimed that Aston Villa are as a big as Everton and Tottenham.
The club’s senior figure also stated that Villa can make the top six in the Premier League in years to come.
Sky Sports news reporter Rob Dorsett posted the comments by the club’s chief executive on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon.

At this moment in time, Villa are plying their trade in the Championship after they were relegated from the top tier for the first time in nearly three decades last season.
The Midlands giants were involved in years of struggle in the bottom half of the Premier League table despite fighting for Champions League places previously under Martin O’Neill.

Now, the former European Cup winners are managed by Steve Bruce who will have the minimum task of earning promotion to the PL next season.
The former Manchester United defender was appointed as manager in mid-October following the sacking of Roberto Di Matteo.
By contrast, both Tottenham and Everton are currently fighting for European places in England’s top flight.
Spurs are likely to earn a Champions League spot, while the Toffees look certain to secure a place in next season’s Europa League.
Chelsea, who are managed by Antonio Conte, currently lead the PL table by ten points, with second-placed Spurs ten points behind and seventh-placed Everton a further 19 points behind the leaders.
In other Aston Villa news, it has been confirmed that this mega-money signing could be sold in the summer for this reason.
