‘Aston Villa to accept £100m Morgan Rogers offer as transfer stance becomes clear’
Aston Villa are willing to accept an £100million offer for star Morgan Rogers as the club’s transfer policy is revealed.
The 22-year-old has proven to be one of the Premier League’s most exciting young prospects over the course of the past two seasons.
Rogers has become a key player for manager Unai Emery and his performances at Villa Park have sparked interest from other clubs.
The midfielder has also received international recognition for his displays and could be in England’s World Cup squad next year.

Rogers asking price set but PSR may dictate transfer plans
Football Insider exclusively revealed Villa are the Premier League club most at risk of breaching PSR rules this summer.
Villa are looking into the possibility of selling their women’s team to avoid being forced to sell players.
According to the Daily Mail, the Midlands club should not be entertaining offers under £100m for Rogers, but Villa do not wish to sell.
Tom Collomosse stated, “Rogers is one of the most coveted young attackers in Europe” and explained his reasoning why Villa should hold out for £100m.
Collomosse said: “Why should they ask for any less than the £100m that took Jack Grealish to Manchester City four years ago?
“Unlike Grealish, Rogers has now played in the Champions League, he is younger than Grealish was when he joined Pep Guardiola’s team and produced double figures for goals and assists last term.
“Rogers is keen for another taste of the Champions League, but is happy at Villa and it is tough to see anyone reaching those numbers for now.”
In controversial circumstances Villa missed out on Champions League qualification last season as they were defeated 2-0 by Manchester United on the final day to miss out by a point.

Emery may be forced into transfer verdict
It remains to be seen whether Villa will be forced to sell a key player, like Rogers, for big money this summer but Emery should prioritise keeping the midfielder over striker Ollie Watkins.
Appearances | 54 |
Goals | 14 |
Assists | 15 |
Watkins is also linked with a move away with Arsenal interested if they cannot complete a deal for either Benjamin Sesko or Viktor Gyokeres.
At 29-years-old this could be the last opportunity Villa have to sell the striker for a significant fee.
Rogers’ poise, close control and neat footwork make him hard to disposes and Villa’s attack is certainly more dynamic and creative with him in the team.
His goals and assists record in all competitions last season was excellent and a contributing factor behind another impressive campaign for Emery’s men.
Rogers will want to play Champions League football again in the future, but Villa are still in the Europa League next season and Emery is continuing to build a side capable on fighting on all fronts.
