Senior duo axed in Rodgers 4-5-1: Celtic best possible XI v Hibernian

Celtic head to Easter Road to face their old boss Neil Lennon’s Hibernian on Saturday, with a victory clinching a seventh successive league title for the Bhoys.

The Bhoys head into the match full of confidence after defeating Rangers 4-0 in the Scottish Cup semi-final on Sunday in what was one of their best performances of the season.

The Hoops know that any win will clinch the title, but they will be hoping to turn in a good performance against the Easter Road outfit, who have caused the Hoops problems this season, and they will be determined that no title party happens at their stadium.

Lennon will have his side up for the challenge, and the midfield battle between John McGinn and Scott Brown may well be pivotal in who wins the match, but if the Hoops play to their very best there really should only be one winner in the game.

Rodgers should make only two changes from the side which emphatically defeated Rangers.
