Senior duo axed in Rodgers 4-5-1: Celtic best possible XI v Hibernian

GOALKEEPER AND DEFENCE

Craig Gordon (Goalkeeper) – Should keep his place in the side after making some excellent saves in the semi-final against Rangers, which has re-established him as the number one goalkeeper at the club

Kristoffer Ajer (Right-back) – Should keep his place in the team even though he will be playing in a role he has played in only a few occasions, but he is in such good form that he should cope admirably

Jack Hendry (Centre-back) – Should replace senior player Mikael Lustig, who must be axed. The 22-year-old will be looking to hold down a place in the first-team after being ineligible for the Scottish Cup triumph over Rangers

Dedryck Boyata (Centre-back) – He wasn’t that great against Rangers as he made his usual mistakes but Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers is a fan and there he should keep his place in the side for the trip to Easter Road

Kieran Tierney (Left-back) – Should be one of the most important players on the pitch for the Hoops, as he will be tasked with both defending and attacking with style, a job he is more than capable of doing
