Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile react to Romeo Lavia’s new Chelsea message
Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile could be departing Chelsea this summer, and amid the uncertainty, the pair reacted to teammate Romeo Lavia.
Badiashile made the move from Monaco to Stamford Bridge in January 2023, with Disasi making the exact same switch just six months later.
Last season, the pair made just 11 Premier League appearances for Enzo Maresca’s side between them, as Chelsea secured Champions League football.
Disasi spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Aston Villa, while Badiashile suffered from a mix of injury woes and lack of selection.

Disasi and Badiashile react to Lavia
Chelsea are currently competing in the revamped Club World Cup over in the United States.
Maresca’s side finished second in their group, beating both ES Tunis and Los Angeles FC but falling to a 3-1 defeat against Brazilian league leaders Flamengo.
In the last 16, Chelsea beat Benfica 4-1 after extra time, in a contest that was delayed for over two hours due to lightning strikes.
After their progression to the quarter-finals was confirmed, Lavia took to Instagram to share some photos from the game, with the caption: “Thanks for the support, we keep going.”
Both Badiashile and Disasi liked the post to show support for their teammate.
Chelsea to listen to offers for defensive duo
Football Insider Verdict
Football Insider exclusively revealed earlier this month that Chelsea will listen to offers for both Badiashile and Disasi this summer.
Trevoh Chalobah is attracting interest from Napoli and Premier League clubs, but Football Insider has revealed (10 June) he is not at the top of Chelsea’s unwanted list.
The Blues have already been incredibly active in the transfer market this summer, confirming a number of signings ahead of the Club World Cup, so they will be looking to recoup some funds.
Maresca’s side are expected to make more additions in the coming weeks, with Brighton’s Joao Pedro set to fly out and join up with the squad in the United States.
Chelsea are also close to confirming the signing of Jamie Gittens, after missing out on signing the winger ahead of the tournament.
