After Ayling's devastating blow, these three Leeds figures must step up to the plate

Gaetano Berardi

Fresh from scoring his very first goal for Leeds in the club’s shock 2-1 defeat against Newport County, the Swiss defender is now the club’s only fit right back, despite having filled in on the left for the entirety of the campaign.
As a result, Thomas Christiansen should be switching him back over on to the other flank to replace Ayling, and it is about time he lifts his game to reflect the responsibility on his shoulders.
He was a weakness in the back line when playing at left back, but on the right he can rebuild his reputation and demonstrate the form which has led to him earning over 100 appearances for the club.
